Dr. Vishal N. Pingle is the Director of Revive Heart Institute. He has worked extensively in India and abroad. He believes in offering medical services which is fair and of international standards.
Dr. Pingle completed his MBBS from the prestigious Grant medical college and sir JJ group of hospitals Mumbai. He later did his DNB in General surgery from Deenanath Mangeshkar hospital, Pune.
He completed his training in cardiovascular thoracic surgery from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital Mumbai . He is the recipient of the prestigious Gold medal in cardiac surgery.
He later joined the highly respected Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, England. There he was trained in robotic surgery and minimal access cardiac surgery. He also worked in aortic unit acquiring the surgical skills for repair of aortic aneurysm and dissections. He was also part of the TAVI team at Liverpool which helped him gain good experience in the same.
To learn about the aortic valve repair, he visited the Saar University Medical Center, Homburg, Germany, and gained the appropriate surgical skills.
He visited Maastricht University Hospital, Maastricht, Netherlands to get more knowledge in thoracoscopic mitral valve repair surgery.
He also had been to Helios Heart Center, Leipzig, Germany to learn, refine his knowledge and skills in the minimal access cardiac surgery.
He later trained in heart and lung transplant at Newcastle freeman hospital, England. He is UK registered surgeon for retrieval of heart and lungs for transplant. He is also one of the few UK surgeons to be trained in DCD ( donor after circulatory death ) retrieval of heart and lungs. He is also well trained in DCD –NRP ( donor after circulatory death –with normal regional perfusion) retrieval.
He has gained enormous experience in implantation of short term and long term left ventricular assists devices like heartware, heart mate 3, Impella 5.0., ECMO.
Impressed by his surgical skills, the head of the transplant department at Newcastle in England, took to twitter, and praised his surgical skills.
He has multiple international papers and presentations to his credit including a few in Greece and England. He has also participated in UK, National study on review of results of type B dissections.
